Location Intelligence FAQs

What geographic levels can I explore?
Insights supports states, metropolitan areas, counties, cities, and Economic Development District regions. You can move between levels without losing your place, and jump from a county straight to the district that serves it.
How do city level values work?
Some measures are published directly at the city level. Where an agency does not publish a city level value, Insights shows the relevant county value and labels it as inherited, so you always know what you are looking at.
How do percentile rankings work?
Each measure is ranked against the national field for its geography level, so you can see at a glance where a location leads, where it trails, and by how much.
Can I explore on a map and in a table at the same time?
Yes. Switch between map, table, and split views. Filters and selections stay in sync, so screening on the map and inspecting in the table is one workflow, not two.
Can I export what I find?
Yes. Turn a location or comparison into a branded PDF report, or export selected locations and measures to CSV or Excel for your own models and documents.
